Here are some questions and information that we are frequently asked about our wedding packages and services we offer.

  1. How long have you been covering weddings?

Over 6 years and 350 weddings of all types.

  2. Are your photos and videos edited?

Yes every single photo and video is edited. This is why it takes up to 4 weeks or even longer if there are issues such as lighting and sound with your job.

  3. How long does it take to get back our work?

As stated above 4 weeks is the standard but if there are lighting issues and sound issues in photos and video it takes longer.

  4. Why does its take so long?

Editing takes time. The photography actually is done first which takes about 1 week. The video is what takes time. We shoot and deliver in 4k. Our video is usually multi angle meaning that we use 2-4 video cameras once space permits. This is a highly complex video to edit hence the longer time frame but worth the effort because it focuses on all aspects of the wedding such as the wedding itself, the crowd, close up of the couple ect. Also if there is issues with sound from the DJ soundboard or dark lighting it takes time to correct all of these issues. Finally during busier times of year (June- August and December) we have lots of weddings which means that we may take a bit longer.

  5. What is 4k video ?

4 times the resolution of 1080p HD video. Many couples may not have 4k TVs yet but its becoming much more popular. 4k video will still look great on a normal 1080p flat screen tv. Eventually 4k will become a standard in TVs and your video will be future proof.

  6. Your packages has average amount of images so that means that we cant get more? Would you stop shooting at 600 images for example?

The images listed is an average we have been getting based on the timeframe for each package. In many cases we shoot and deliver far more images than advertised for free.

  7. What DSLR brand do you use?

    Nikon and Sony

  8. What video camera brand do you use?

    Sony

  9. Can we split the hours in your packages into 2 days?

Package 2 and 3 (Elegant and Hindu Wedding Package) can be split. So if you take the elegant package you can use 3 hours on one day you will have 5 hours on the other day to use.

  10. How long do you arrive before a wedding?

Usually, 15 mins to set up video, lighting and sound.

  11. Have you ever arrived late?

In over 200 weddings never ever. We are professionals and take our job very seriously.

  12. What if the wedding runs late?

Unfortunately we are very strict with our time. If you are almost to the end we will give up to 15 minutes grace. Anything after we charge for the 1/2 hour to an hour. We will discuss it with you when we have the meeting to sign contracts etc. and on the wedding day if time is becoming an issue.

  13. How many persons in our team?

We are a husband and wife team. We both shoot photos and manage the video cameras. Most times video is on a tripod so both take photos at different focal lenghts. With over 200 weddings we have never missed an important moment. We have a set routines that we follow to ensure everything is covered.  If the need arises for more persons in our team we have professionals we can rely on once we book them early.

  14. What in your opinion makes great photos and video?

Firstly lighting - dark venues will make photos dark and flashy, video will suffer also. Secondly background - having a clean and non distracting background that is aesthetically pleasing with neutral colours will ensure better photos and video. Space - having enough space for us to move around to capture different angles.

  15. Documentary & Journalistic vs Photoshoot- Most of your wedding will be shot in a photojournalistic style (this is standard with all photographers). This means that we have to work with the background, lighting, and environment to make your pictures beautiful. We will try to add some lighting if space permits and once it does take away from the decor of the venue and obstruct attendees. For the photoshoot however we can control the environment, background, lighting, and poses will various flashes and lights etc.

  16. We have to cut the photo shoot short due to the wedding running late or the sunlight is gone.

The photoshoot is whereas the wedding company can create stunning images as mentioned above in point 15. Here is where we can get creative. If we have less time we will have to focus on getting the safe shots and may not be able to explore our creativity. These are the wedding pictures that you will frame and remember for years to come so we encourage clients to plan your day carefully.

  17. What happens if it rains falls and we cannot do the photoshoot?

Unfortunately we cant control the rain or weather but we will make it our duty to use the area for the reception to get beautiful images.

  18. What venues have you worked in ?

Everywhere honestly. From Hyatt , Hilton, Magdalena Grand in Tobago  to popular weddings halls to weddings in Biche, Cedros and all over Trinidad and Tobago. We have seen all major venues in Trinidad and Tobago.

  19. How much extra is weddings in Tobago ? We charge $1000 extra. That is airfare for 2 and rental of a car. We will fly in early in the morning and fly back in the night.

  20. After the photos and videos are delivered and the client asks for a trailer.

Trailers or highlight videos are filmed very differently from full video. It is difficult for us to create a trailer when we did not film for it. Example bride getting dressed, groom prep, dress hanging etc. Also timeframe. With our 6 hour package it is difficult to get all these clips. We tend to do trailers for 8 and 10 hour packages as we have time to get the clips we need. Trailers are also an additional cost as it's very time consuming to create.

  21. Our drone will or may not fly due to the following reasons: Rainy Conditions - If rain is falling or there is the treat of rain we cannot fly our drone. Too many electrical lines - This interferes with the signals that control the drone.  Space - There must be sufficient space (flat concreted or asphalt areas for liftoff and landing) and area that is being filmed is not impeded by trees, electricity lines etc. Time – if the event is running late and the drone will further keep back proceedings. Night - drone coverage does not look good in the night and hence will only be flown in good light usually up to 6 P.M.
